I did not have much time to spend in Napa and mostly drove around
trying to get a ‘feel’ for it. Its a good place to go with your sporty
convertible – there are a few small, winding, scenic roads. Its a
valley that has two main roads (121 and 29) running along with several
cross roads that get you from one side to the other. The older
vineyards are on 121 and all the newer ones on 29. The idea is to have
a route (zinfandels) and go to 3-4 wineries and taste the wine and
maybe leave with a good deal on a case of wine. The problem with that
is that all the wineries close around 5pm and thats way before my wine
drinking time.
I also saw a bunch of limos while I was there. I assume its a good
spot for weddings or other similar events
